The Wolverines beat former No. 18 New Rochelle, 69-58, in the NYSPHSAA Class AA championship. Junior guard Paul Harris was named tournament MVP after posting 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the final. The Wolverines will play John F. Kennedy (Bronx) in the state Federation semifinals on March 18.

The Wolverines sealed the No. 1 deal by becoming the first Western New York team to win the state Federation title in the largest class. The Falls won
the Class AA title with a 68-65 finals' win over Xaverian of Brooklyn, the
state Catholic champion. MVP Paul Harris had 17 points, 15 rebounds and
eight assists. In the semifinals, Falls routed New York City PSAL champion John F. Kennedy, 92-60.

Boo Williams: Day Two Checklist

HAMPTON, Va. – What a day at the Boo Williams! Guys were putting in work and making things happen and while Kevin Durant was at it again, Sherron Collins was busy skyrocketing up the 2006 point guard list.
Harris scored 22 points and had 13 rebounds in a contest at the Boo Williams, he is the best 6-4 rebounder at the event.

The Charlie Weber DC Hoop Fest concluded on Sunday afternoon with a set of four championship games played at Catholic University.

6-foot-4 225 pound G/F Paul Harris from Niagara Falls HS in New York busted out the best performance of an all-world weekend in the Diplomat Division title game, with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists in the GC Ballers' 68-57 win over Playaz Black.

Harris is quietly passing guys on the list of top players in the class of 2006 this spring. Some believe he was the best player at the event and maybe in the country.

From RivalsHoops.com...the article talks a lot about how Paul can play any number of positions on the floor. He draws comparisons to Dwayne Wade. Syracus is in the lead for his services, followed closely by Pitt. He may decide by the end of the month.
