Early interest in Michigan, Notre Dame, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan State.

This is an early name for the '08 class, but with OSU likely to pursue several top recruits in MI in '07, one can assume that Khoury will get a look for the '08 class. He is likely to look heavily at the Big 10 and camp at several B10 schools so look for OSU to be in contact eventually.

By BK...Rocko is getting mail from most of the Big 10, including OSU and Michigan. Many schools are looking at him as an offensive tackle.

Editing the title to reflect we may be looking at him for offense...

From the MichiganPreps site...talks about Rocko's strength and abilities in the weightroom, as well as his brother's. He has been invited to Junior Days at Michigan, Michigan State, LSU and ND.

Looks like an MSU kid to me.

Michigan seems to be going after JB Shugarts, Zerbie Sanders, legacy recruit Khaled Holmes, and in-stater Dan O'Neill the hardest. They are also flirting with Mike Adams and the Brewster kid from Florida, but Adams is a Buckeye lock and Brewster is probably going to Florida or Ohio State. It would really take some incredible recruiting and a small miracle for Michigan to get either one of those kids. Regardless, I don't think Rocko gets an offer from Michigan, and if he does it probably won't be until some of their other OL targets have either publicly committed elsewhere or told the Michigan staff in private they are going elsewhere.

in the end i actually see him getting a michigan offer. tackle is a real need and if michigan misses out on a few of the big name prospects he rocko will get an offer real quick.

Sanders, O'Neill, Holmes, and Shugarts are the top 4 tackle prospects on Michigan's board that they have a realistic shot at. I know that the Painter kid from VA and Mike Adams are also high on there board, but those are pretty long shots. Anyways, Rocko is more of an interior player anyways and Michigan has done well recruiting interior lineman but not so great recruiting tackles.

I wouldn't count on Shugarts, Sanders, Adams, or Brewster. Shugarts we've discussed and scUM isn't out of it, but I doubt he goes there. Sanders wants an OSU offer and if he doesn't get it, he will likely head south. Adams will be a Buckeye and Brewster should be a Buckeye as well and if he isn't, he'll be a Gator(though I doubt it). Point is, if that's who UM is banking on, Khoury will likely get an offer.

Sanders is heavily considering Michigan, and from what I was told he had a great time at Michigan's JR Day. A great time. Michigan is recruiting that kid very hard and letting him know they want him real bad. Has Ohio State even offered him? Nope.

Shugarts has not dropped Michigan and they are in his Top 4. He's going to be up there for camp, and while it will be a battle for every team in his top 4, Michigan is not out of it. Far from it.

Sanders mother I think is a Georgia alum.

I have a feeling even if OSU offers he may be headed south.

I wouldnt get my hopes up as a UM fan, but who knows recruiting gets crazier every year.

I'm not saying we're going to land them. I'm just not ruling out not landing them. Get it?

This is Michigan we're talking about, they recruit on a national OOS level as good or better than just about anybody except for USC (nobody has conistently been recruiting on USC's level the last 4-5 years though IMO). I think many of you Buckeyes are forgetting that. Also, with limited scholarships available for 2008 Michigan will be going for quality, not quantity.

Nor did I rule them out either. Not once did I say that they wouldn't go to UM...no, just that it wasn't likely. "Get it?" Zebrie is originally from the south and he wants an OSU offer. If he doesn't get it, odds are he heads south. I am well informed on Sanders recruitment being down the road from him a bit and I don't mean to sound arrogant, but just passing along info. Don't try to give me info on his recruitment. Shugarts you have a shot at...but UM has some ground to make up. All indications point to it coming down to Oklahoma and OSU at this moment. Adams you can forget about...Holmes, I have no clue. My point is that if UM fans plan on landing those guys, they are likely in for a rude awakening...and as it pertains to this subject, Khoury would likely end up with a UM offer if he is next in line behind that list.

:shake: Thanks for letting us recruiting novices in on some of you wisdom. Please enlighten us further on UM's recruiting ability. You must be confused as to what board you are on.....

not on the o-line. at first it will be lots of quality, but if things dont pan out it will be quantity with not as much talent in the group.
