Dang you didn't have to get grumpy. I just thought that you were implying something, but clearly that's not the case. Sorry for asking.

Can't get into specifics, but suffice it to say that he's having a great camp and that things may be really looking up for Brandon soon.

Size aside, you do not get the quality offers he has unless you can play. He may be the FB tOSU needs, or RB or LB. Best of luck to BB.

Not saying he we will get an offer, but the staff was keeping a close eye on him. Even if he were to leave camp sans offer, I would guess things are looking better between him and OSU than before.

I think the thing that will help him more than anything was in Devoe's last update one of the mods said that Devoe was finally open to playing LB in college. If Devoe feels that he wouldn't mind playing either, I think that could open up an offer for Beachum as a rb. I'm not sure if BB is a LB in college. I'm beginning to go with everyone else saying that he probably ends up at rb in college (mainly because he's 5.11, and I like his film at rb better than lb). Mili, do you know where BB did most of his reps at during camp (rb or lb)? Thanks for all the info today Mili.

Wasn't Brian Rolle 5'10"? I have seen both of their films, and Beachum looks at least two inches taller. I'd say he's a true 6 feet. And Rolle was recruited as a backer. Beachum is more narrow than Rolle (he looks like a safety). However, he appears to play a lot bigger than his size. He loves to hit. He's vicious and he's able to matter of factly shed blocks while keeping his eye on the ball. He's also very instinctive, closes very quickly, is a textbook tackler, and can play both at the line and in coverage. I see him as a special player on defense. I don't see much special about him as a running back. His speed and shiftiness are only average for that position. He is powerful. But I think it would be a waste of his talent to use him on that side of the field. IMO, he is a backer or strong safety. He's already 218. I don't think gaining up to 225-230 would be a chore at all, even with his frame. They don't all have to be 240 pound linebackers.

I'm not conceding Beachum to OSU, like I would many Ohio players, even if they do offer. Recruits don't say they fell in love with schools every day (unless they already committed).

someone who would know said Beachum if offered is a buckeye, and that he may accept the instant he was offered.

Before or after he visited Wisconsin? If he got the Buckeye offer early, he may not have even paid UW any mind. But he went there with an open mind, without an OSU offer at the time, and now he may have something to think about.

before and after. He may hesitate in accepting an OSU offer after the UW visit, but I think the home school would win out in the end. I guess you never know.
