Mm, don't like having Columbus the first visit - hopefully they make a lasting impression.
The Buckeye staff has already made a "lasting impression" with Koger, as they do with most recruits. The question is, will that be enough to overcome years of Michigan being in the lead?

Just recruiting instincts

Don't get your hopes up...

Rivals $

7/6

From the UM site...again says he will visit both of his favorites and talks a little about why he likes each school.

I do not read into first visit vs last in this case because he has been to both. Doing recruiting for a living this is just confirmation of a decision that has already been 95 % made. OSU on the 10th can set the bar very high and reconfirm the right decision. Great opportunity for Kevin and his family.

Those are my thoughts since i first heard of his plan.. he had OSU scheduled for that date for awhile.. and said Michigan "a few days" later.. to me that meant he's leaning OSU and just wants to be "convinced" one more time...

The Michigan visit would be a fallback if he's still unsure after his Cbus visit..

At least that was my take on it..

I would feel more comfortable if OSU was his only visit...
I'd feel more comfortable if he had already committed.

I'd feel more comfortable if he'd already signed a letter of intent ...

I'd be happier if he was already on campus with the team.

There, I think that completes the circle of recruiting comfort.

Top Ten Reasons Koger picks the Bucks over Michigan

10. great coach
9. great coaching staff
8. new field turf
7. great facility
6. play time as TE with tOSU
5. Moore was the #1 pick up north
4. "Hang on Sloopy" is his prefers song over Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg - "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang"
3. he has a buckeye tree in his backyard
2. buckeye candy is his favorite treat

and the #1 reason for selecting the Buckeyes over Michigan

Kevin Koger knows that the new turf grass won't stain his knees green when he dives for "The Catch" in the "The Game" as his dad watches proudly and he comes up with the winning play that just earned him a ring as he smiles and jumps for joy.

Somewhat twisted, but maybe someone can improve the Top10 list to better suit this recruit.
