i suspect that's whom long was referring to. i just don't understand where west's "enthusiasm" comes from in terms of pryor?! *THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON WEST; I'M JUST WONDERING WHY THAT QUOTE WOULD BE A GOOD THING....
first, i don't believe that there is ever a talk of package deal between them. second, i really don't think our chance with pryor is favorable. i think he will probably ends up with the home town school (pitt) or perhaps psu with larry johnson sr.'s bag full of dirty tricks. so, nonetheless, i am still holding out hope that long's ALLEGED friendship with block o along with his father's ALLEGED approval to our program and coach tressel will eventually draw kyle toward us.

First, when did westbuck ever say anything about a a "package deal"? All Kyle said was that he wouldn 't mind visiting PSU when some other big niame recruits are going to be there, like Pryor for example...and westbuck merely pointed that out.

Second, you are wrong if you think we aren't in a great spot with Pryor right now. PSU, Pitt and OSU are supposedly the schools he is most interested in because of proximity to home, something that is very important to him due to the health of his father. And of those three, only OSU did not take a QB in last year's class (not counting Bauserman, obviously).

I was merely pointing out that Kyle said he would like to do some blocking for Pryor...given what people who would know (wad, grad, 40 etc) have said about our chances with Long, I just thought it was interesting.

Doesn't mean either are coming here, but Long is likely to be a Buckeye and it sounds like Pryor could be a target for Kyle, Mike and Mike.
