'09 KS RB Bryce Brown (Tennessee one-n-done, Kansas State one-n-done)

I just hope there isn't the circus around his recruitment as there was his brothers...

He has a ton of talent, and we really need a stud rb in next years class...

You would have to think OSU gets a serious look by Brown just based on us likely not taking a RB in this class, Beanie likely leaving after the 08 season, and the OL haul we are bringing in with the 08 class and the guys we have committed and are going after in the 09 class.

USC is recruiting him pretty hard also, but in the end I think he will follow his brother arthur to the u. miami.:)

I was just thinking... Bryce Brown going to OSU means he will be going directly against Arthur in the '10-'11 series. Brother against brother... think about all the headlines it'll make...

Just caught myself dreaming again... da U is probably going to get him 2. :(

Offensive Line = Productive College Career.........

Just saying........

Two positions understand this more than any other. RB and QB!

Who wouldn't want to run behind Ohio State's line over the next 4 to 5 years....

I agree. If Brown doesn't end up committing, this O-line class has got to at least open the eyes of other big-time RB recruits the next few years. Who wouldn't want to run behind the hogs the Bucks have coming in next year?

what about Brandon Saine, Daniel Herron And Lammar Thomas

those guys arent too shabby

adding another big-time back in the future (Brown) would be a added bonus

Remember, Herron and Saine are two years ahead of Brown out of HS. They can leave as early as after the 2009 season. Saine will have played 3 years - which is becoming industry standard timing for great RBs to leave. I'm not saying either will go early, but the depth chart in front of Brown (or any 09 RB) is WIDE open for their junior and senior years, with the potential for major playing time in 2010. Thomas is not the same type of RB and probably not as much of a concern. A stud 2009 RB is not a luxury, its a need - maybe even 2 for depth purposes.

I see what you saying

either Bryce Brown or Larry Caper would be a great top HB get for 09

its early in the process though, so we will see what happens

It'll be interesting to see what type of competitive relationship he has with his brother. I'm pretty sure playing against his brother for a year or two could play a factor in his decision to seriously consider OSU. With them playing positions that are guaranteed to face each could make for a compelling matchup.:osu:

I agree, why wouldn't he? He knows that Beannie will be eligible, he's certainly not intimidated by anyone and he knows that we have a previous OL class that is only rivaled by USC. His brother travels out of state to the best scenario personally, why wouldn't he? I haven't read anything about him needing to be near his brother. I believe that Rivals ran an article previously pretty close to this effect.

FWIW, (not much), gotta good feelin' he's comin' to Columbus...won't know for sure till the 45 pulls the trigger....but I like our chances! C'mon, Bryce!!
