'09 KS RB Bryce Brown (Tennessee one-n-done, Kansas State one-n-done)

The scout interview sounded promising. When Miami was mentioned, it wasn't like he was locked in to the thought that he needed to go to Miami and be with his brother. It sounds like his brother laid the groundwork for a good approach to the recruiting process, but Bryce is going to take things slow and go his own way on this one. Don't know if he'll end up at the U, but OSU may be a long shot as well.

This guy is gonna be very hard to recruit away from U. It's gonna be hard to break that tough bond called brotherhood.

However, I think the coaches are gonna have to try and sell the fact that we have just recruited one of the greatest O-lines of all time which could have Heisman bells ringing.

I think it's pretty obvious that he's pretty far from being a lock to Miami, JUST because his brother goes there. He has said before that he's looking at depth charts and will go to the place he feels is best for him. Maybe Miami is the best fit for him, but he's not going to Miami just because of his big brother.

Little brothers have minds of their own too, ya know. Sometimes the best fit isn't at the school your big brother went too. David Posluszny is a good example. He may never have seen the field at PSU with the way they recruit LBs and he would constantly be compared to his brother, Paul. However he picked ND, where he has a chance to get a lot of playing time and make a name for himself.

That's what I'm saying...People are so quick to just assume that Bryce will be a 'Cane.

I think he sees that depth chart at OSU, the way we're consistently a top 5 team, the incredible coaching, the 105,000 fans, the success of Beanie Wells, a potential heisman and definite candidate in Beanie, the great lines that we're bringing in that would be blocking for him, and just the overall talent that we have and will be bringing in around him.

Also, who puts more people in the NFL than OSU? No one.

Not to mention when he visits, the great people that we have here at OSU and the incredible facilities.

I think that OSU and the situation that he will come into here are the perfect fit for him, and hopefully he will see that.

When comparing OSU to Miami in this respect, it's like saying Gheorghe Muresan was taller than Sean Bradley. Both schools have reputations for churning out solid NFL players.

Well since Tressel has been here no school has put more players in the NFL than OSU.

Obviously I do see what you're saying though...

Plus a RB recruit would have to look at whos responsible for your success. O-Line, a good QB, and coaches. Hard to argue with the bucks on that front!!
