Junkie, I thought in another thread that you said there were some "issues" with Riley. I don't know if you were referring to Georgetown or some other type of "issues".
  2. OSUBucks22

    OSUBucks22 No touching!

Probably not academic issues if G-Town and Duke are involved in all honesty (but I can't say for sure)...

I've heard concerns over his offensive polish... I hear that he needs some work in that department, but that's all I've heard in regards to Riley...

I do not remember the post....if you find it, let me stated above.....the only issue with Riley is he is developing on the offensive end.....a project if you will.

USC, UCLA, Michigan State, Georgetown, Ohio State, Kentucky, and North Carolina State are in constant contact. Distance from home is not a big factor at this point.

Boo Williams: Day 1 Rundown, Part I...........comments on Riley that he more of a prospect at this point than producer but seems to be improving on offense.
  8. That is what I like to hear...He might not be a great scorer at the time, but give him another year and I think that he will be adequate...

Back to a bad report on Riley, they say he is not playing like the highest rated player on the team...

Top 5 of Georgetown, Michigan State, Ohio State, Kansas & NC State. Will be attending the Amare Stoudemire Camp & LeBron James Skills academy this summer
  11. He really needs to turn his potential into actual results...Look for a big drop in the next rankings when they put them out...Probably about 80 or so spots...also look for us to back off a little...

I have stated several times that I felt he was more of a project than polished big man at this stage.....could be a player down the road.....

  13. Yep and that is right on...He needs to be more aggressive on offense, and just continue to work on his game...he seems to have the right attitude in the article to get that done...The frame is something that you cannot teach...

Unfortunately, we do not need a project big man in the 09 class. I think that we need someone who will be able to come in and contribute immediately and from this sound of it Riley does not sound like he will be a immediate contributor unless he develops very rapidly within the next year but the scholarship is already offered which is somewhat confusing.

Riley has an offer due to his size and likely progression.......the question is if he will be ready to contribute that first year in D-1 because that is what tOSU needs in that class.....I don't believe he will be. I compare him to Lauderdale.
