'09 OH DB Storm Timson (Ohio Signee)

Though Watkins lost some from last year, they are an established program and I would not discount them having a better than average season. Wait and see. LH team speed matchs up well with anyones and I mean anyones regardless of division.

That wasn't a knock on Storm at all. I was just simply pointing out that his numbers should be great considering their schedule.

Watkins Memorial is 14th in their region with a 2-1 record which tells you that they have played a weak schedule to date. They've beaten no one this year, and more than likely won't.

LH plays 4 Division 6 Schools.
4 Division 5 Schools.
1 Division 2 School.
1 Division 3 School.

A Division 4 school playing 80% of it's schedule against smaller schools.

Not sure I can argue with that. Good point. But going back to one of the orginal comments about him being "lightening in a bottle", productin sometimes is predicated on actually getting the ball in your hands, if a team is focused on balance the opportunities might not be as plentiful, and it does not help when opposing teams kick away from him, heck they run and throw away from him too.

Anyone see the Storm Klein/Storm Timson segment 10TV had on last week? Pretty cool "The 2 Storms of Licking County"

West Jefferson and Fisher Catholic are no slouches on the football field. Heights went out and scheduled bigger schools in Philo and Watkins, and dominated them on the football field.

For now, they've played a tougher schedule than past years, and they're 3-0. They still have West Jeff and FC to go, and if they get past those two games (doubtful), they'll go undefeated in the rest of the, admittedly, easy schedule. But that's a product of the league they are in.

Has Licking Heights ever played Licking Valley? Why isn't there a rival between those county schools?

I remember in 2003 playing them in basketball at the fairgrounds. They had a bunch of great athletes back then.

They played a couple of times in the 90s and annually all the way back to the Licking County League years.

Problem is Licking Valley is all the way on the Northeast side of the county and Heights is on the Southwest corner on the border with Columbus. So, geographically it doesn't make as much sense as it sounds because Licking County is one of the largest counties in the state in area.

Licking Heights remains undefeated

On the first play after the touchdown, Storm Timson intercepted Berne Union (2-2, 0-1) quarterback Nick Adams and returned the ball to the Rockets 1. Timson scored from a yard on the next play.

I saw an interview with both Timson and Klein. It was titled "STORM WARNING" Both born during the Desert Storm Era! I would bet they have military ties.
