After spending a great deal of the weekend watching the over the top corporate behemoth that is the NFL it’s so refreshing to see a small-scale, strictly amateur event like the CFP National Championship Game Presented by AT&T, featuring the Capital One Stage at Allstate Tailgating Plaza at the Mercedes Benz Superdome, the Mazda Halftime Report highlighting the Taco Bell Play of the Game, Chick-Fil-A Player of the Game, the Gatorade Sideline Report, the Dr Pepper Timeout and the Cheezit Call to the Booth. Did I also mention Visa? It’s everywhere you want to be...and remember kids, it’s all about the student athletes!

And it only took four and a half hours!

Wanted to not watch the game, but ended up watching it because I wanted to see Burrow's last college game. I went on the record in saying that I hoped Clemson lost and got dicked sideways on a couple calls. Not only did that happen, but in a mirror image to how it happened to us: (1) Questionable targeting call, one of their best defensive players gets tossed, and then a touchdown on the next play; and (2) BS penalty takes a touchdown off the board. Eat dick Dabo, how does it feel when it happens to you?

Never thought I would take so much pleasure in an SEC win (don't love it obviously, but couldn't stand to see Clemson win after we got robbed). Congrats to Joe Burrow on getting a championship, he was so fun to watch all year. Can't wait to see you keep tearing it up in southern Ohio.

If Live PD were on tonight you would be drunk as fuck if you took a shot every time their SC units responded to a domestic violence.

I think it is only fair now that LSU gets exclusive rights to the Death Valley trademark and perhaps the Tigers name. If they want to use Meth Valley going forward I won't have a problem with it.

If LSU put up a obelisk sized tombstone with Clemson's name on it wouldn't be half as tacky as Clemson's "graveyard"

Fuck Clemson.

Those are my hot takes.

Shut up, kirk
Best post in the entire thread.
Haven't been feeling good, and fell asleep at 17-7. Woke up this morning and caught the replay.
Even though the Fiesta Bowl still stings, glad to see this go the way it did. Karma's a bitch!
Congrats Joe and LSU!. Should have been the Buckeyes in that game.
Welp, off to the Clumpson board for some of those sweet, sweet healing tears.

I didn't watch one second of it so two questions for those who did;

1) Was Clemson just not ready for the moment?
2) How did God let this happen to Dabo and the Clemson faithful?

Did he get the dates mixed up? Someone on the LSU side pray harder? I'm curious if Herbstriet shed any light on the topic. He's usually so insightful and all.

Same here. Also, a couple of other questions.

1.A. I have read some refs may have affected the game. Did they make the right call(s)? How did the calls fuck Clemson?

2.A. What happened to Lawrence and the greatest WRs in CFB and did Etienne not produce?

3. How did Dabo the Preacher lose and will he be whining like a bloody cunt today?
