#1 Ohio State 68, Penn State 60 (Final)

So whats worse, the fact that they had 28 fouls or that we didn't make them pay for em at the free throw line and beyond. Wisky would've spanked us tonight playing like that. Why teams crush the 3 on us I've no idea but they do. We have to shoot better. We have to keep the defensive intensity up the entire game. We have to recognize the floor better. We have to maintain composure.

While watching the first half tonight I started to notice something regarding our defense. When we go into a shooting slump it appears that our defensive intensity goes down! Its as if they are dwelling on missed shots and opportunities or something. The guys are young, we know that. I'd like to see the guys recognize a shooting slump and drive to the basket or at least pass it to Greg and crash the boards. I dont always agree with shooting out of a slump- sometimes it can take an entire game and we cant afford that. Just my preliminary thoughts.

Anyone know why Lewis started again tonight? Lewis=Liability. Harris is pretty aweful shooting lately. He did show a little hustle on defense and the boards keeping possessions alive though.

Good call on Jamel Butler...he just kept knocking down open shots......Cook hasn't been the same aggressive player lately...even though he doesn't always take the best shots, he plays much better whens he's free....he had lots of looks tonight where he woulkdn't pull the trigger
