'10 FL S Marvin Robinson (Michigan signee; transfer to Ferris State University)

Only team that I see challenging UM is UNC. That said, with Ricardo Miller in his ear regularly, I have a hard time believing Marvin needs up elsewhere.

Agreed on both accounts...Butch Davis and John Blake were a thorn in RR's side this past recruiting class...

So that he can welcome him off the plane and be with every other major recruit that is looking at UM.

Sorry, but Ricardo moving to Ann Arbor now is only good for UM.

Disagree entirely. Miller's the best recruiter that the Rod has. He single-handedly turned dozens of Florida kids on to Michigan, and he's not a risk to decommit at all, so his moving to AA doesn't help maintain his commitment at all, but does move Rod's best recruiter out of his most important state. He's already got his teammate and probable top player in Florida from the 2011 class, Demetrius Hart, set on Michigan (according to one of his last couple updates on Scout in which he said he'll commit on the spot when he gets his offer 9/1). Do you really think that's going to stick? Or how about Marvin Robinson, long considered to be a Michigan lock. Without Miller there keeping him in line, you can bet that Rod will have a very tough time reeling him in.

Sure, Miller will be able to help when he's on campus when others are visiting, but to kids other than Floridians, he just another UM commit. When he's in Florida working on Florida kids, everyone he talks to knows exactly who he his: one of the absolute best players in the state and a kid you'd like to play with.

I kind of agree with three7. When Robinson or any other Floridian comes up for a visit, they have a friend already there who can attest to the weather/lifestyle/etc, maybe even fib to them (seriously, who in their right mind would want to live there:biggrin:) and make them feel okay about making the trip from Florida to TSUN.
Besides, it's not like the recruiting Miller does on those guys is done primarily face to face. Most of it is via text message and facebook, which location would have no impact on.
