'11 FL WR Ja'Juan Story (Florida Signee - Transfer to TCU)

I would think some of these WRs would just look at our depth chart at WR and commit without a visit. That is a position of real need.

Aren't we pretty deep at WR? We just have a lot of young, unproven talent. We go 7 deep(not including Posey, but adding the 2 2011 recruits)

We have a lot of names. But when I see us go to a true frosh like Brown it makes me wonder about the potential of Jackson and Fields.

Yeah, we have some names; however, so far I don't see a "franchise receiver" like Galloway, Glenn, Boston, Jenkins, or Holmes, etc. in the group.

Just sayin': an incoming freshman WR would have a legitimate chance of getting in (at least) the "2 deep" and seeing significant playing time.

Which of these were known franchise receivers before they ever saw the field?

I guess you never know who is going to be "that guy" until you see him play; however, I'm sure the coaches evaluate the players in practices and the guys that distinguish themselves early on earn significat playing time as freshmen/sophomores, etc. I'm just sayin' so far none of the current crop of 1st and 2nd year wide receivers has "stepped up" to earn any significant playing time. Nobody is entrenched in the WR 2 deep chart (except Posey) so it would be a wide open competition for the spots (i.e. an incoming freshman would have a legitimate chance of cracking the 2 deep at WR.)

Example: David Boston got significant playing time as a true freshman and made the game winning catch in the 1997 Rose Bowl.
