'12 OH DE/LB Ifeadi Odenigbo (Northwestern Signee)

He's said in all his interviews that a new HC would knock OSU down cause he'd have to build new relationships. He's cool with Fickell and Vrabel right now. Of course both Fickell and Vrabel or at least one of them could stay on under a new coach. So maybe that would help.

Seems to me he is looking for an out...

He doesn't need an out. He hasn't signed anything.

Nothing wrong with taking a wait and see approach given the change. I'm sure he'll be hearing from Urban soon. Time will tell.

It's inevitable that some players will not find Urban Meyer to be to their liking, and we shouldn't expect them all to rush to play for the man. Only about 98%, would be my estimate.

Good luck to this young man whether he elects to go to Ohio State or not.

For what it's worth, I am a substitute teacher in the Centerville district and have heard nothing but good things about this kid. I have only exchanged a few words with IO, but this is the kind of kid you want in your program. However, as someone said before, Ohio State isn't for everyone and we can't blame this kid if he goes elsewhere. He's a very smart young man who is looking for the best fit academically and athletically. I don't think he is "looking for an out". He is looking for the right fit and maybe he will change his thinking after Meyer speaks to him. If not... good luck to him wherever he goes. He seems like someone who is destined to do great things in the classroom and on the field.

I wish the young man nothing but the best. Thank God he's not considering Meatchicken. It's amazing how gracious I can genuinely feel after watching Uban's press conference, I'm sure the scholarship will be put to good use.:)
