It really came down to the QB match up who thought Trevor would out rush JF much less for a 100+ . No turnovers eithet.
But Justin did throw for 300+... IMO Justin is the better thrower by a mile.

On the bright side....

1. Day showed that against the best he will still out coach anyone. Venables was taken to school and if we execute it's a walk away win.

2. We controlled the LOS against the best opponent.

3. We beat ourselves but other wise that was our game.

We just need to keep some freaking coaches and we will be back

All of college football needs to pay some lower schools to hire some clemson coaches. Dabo's caching stability is incredible and we have seen with so many coaches just cause their first staff is good doesn't mean they can replace them with elite coaches. Dabo has barely had to deal with that vs elite other coaches.

It is exciting to think that Justin’s best football is still ahead of him. You can also argue that Ryan’s best coaching is still ahead of him. In a lot of ways this team and staff is still raw undeveloped talent. Their floor is really high. I can’t wait to see the how high they push the ceiling.

Chase Young was almost non existent yesterday. We needed "the best player in the country" to play like it and he did not
Nah that's not true. There's a reason defensive players never win the Heisman. You can take them out of a game. If you're Michigan, you can take them out of a game by completely sucking at everything else. If you're Clemson, you can get away with it.

He still made several plays.
