[2003] Is there going to be a fantasy league?

I think we are at 12 folks now however we can accept a couple of more folks (so far of the 12 that stated they weould like to be in the league, only 7 have signed up).

We def. want to keep the numbers even (so nobody has a bye week)...

If you want in let me know, and let me know your email, I'll send you the info.

The rules are head to head (on a rotating basis) and you get points for each player (points are discussed on page two from killernut)... there is a live draft on Sat. Aug. 9 at around 4:00... I think it is actually 4:40, however in the league it will tell you).

Again if you want in, you're more than welcome to join... it is on yahoo, and is a free league... please let me know your email if you want to join...

Are we still going to have the league if we don't get 12 teams?
I see we currently have 8 teams, and was wondering if it could still fly with 8 or 10 teams. What do you think, GBear ?

Yes we have enough players that we will have the league either way (BITB and BuckYou sign up that will be ten... I have sent out an email to a couple friends to see if they had any interest as well).

Please sign up as soon as possible. The goal is to have an even number of players (that way nobody has to sit out a week on a bye). I have some friends that should fill in the gaps, however I just recently sent them the info, so if they all join this league could fill up without all the buckeyeplanet folks on board.

The draft day is this Sat. @ 4:20

Edit: I sent an email to Clarity a while ago, I think his health isn't doing so well at this time... I don't think he will beable to make the league, we also have a couple other guys who said they wanted in, who have yet to sign up...? We do have the numbers to make it work though, so those of you who are in the league, don't worry we will still go ahead with the league no matter what (looks like 10 maybe 12 will be in the league... that is a good size league in my book... I think 14 gets too big, and six is too small...

We are going to close the league down to new folks (that includes folks that said they want to be in the league) tonight or tomarrow morning... for those of you who have not yet signed up that I have sent an email to, please enroll, or you will not be able to join the league.

(we currently have an odd number of folks, and I have a person that will join if need be, to make it an even number... we don't want and odd number of folks, and I afraid that if he signs up to make it even, we might have a person at the last min. join and throw everything off).

Draft day is this Sat.!! See ya all then...

Brutus1, I just tried it and it worked for me, fwiw. I wish I could help you out but i'm not all that computer intelligent :(

For anyone who has participated in a draft before, any idea on how long it should take Saturday? I only wonder because my brother wanted me to help him hang a garage door Saturday evening. Thanks.

I have not taken part in a live draft before, I don't know what the software is that you are talking about. I'll try and stop by home during lunch and load the software... however if it does/doesn't work I will not be of much help, I'm as computer savy as a dead turtle :roll2:
