Wow, alles het reg gekom! That is exceptional. Kinda like the Boks versus Rumania! Really good stuff. Hope the next game is the same!

It is a sad note about Sarah Wilson. Please do let her know that we all wish her a speedy recovery.

The Buckeyes drove back down the field and in another three minutes flanker Bill Myers took a ball from the scrum over the tryline. So true...I have to admit I got a little joy out of seeing us stomp on Wisconsin.

Other Midwest pool matches this weekend are:

Pittsburgh @ Purdue
Wisconsin @ Minnesota
Ark-Slippery Rock @ Indiana

This weekend also features a great game between #2 Navy at #7 Air Force.

Next weekend concludes Midwest pool play with:

Wisconsin @ Illinois State
Purdue @ Northern Iowa
Minnesota @ Bowling Green
Indiana @ Michigan

The championship tournament will be in Columbus on 11/5-11/6.

The women are 1-0 in pool play with a 41-7 win over Grand Valley State on 9/24. Their next pool match is on 10/15 at West Virginia. This weekend they have the unenviable task of playing the #1 team in the country, Penn State.

Not much of a game today...we powered down the starting lineup and still came away with a 95-0 victory. I know, I know...we failed to reach the "hundo" again. I thought we had a chance today, after putting up 51 in the first half, but we only put up 5 points during the first 20 minutes of the second half. Then the flood gates opened up and we put up 39 in the final 20 minutes. All in all, the play was pretty poor, and there was not a whole lot for us to do as coaches. We lacked focus for much of the game and just got by on speed and talent. But a win's a win. The B-side won 14-5. More to come...

their captain kept yelling at them to stop giving up, and they all were yelling back that they were giving everything they had. I can't imagine what it would have been like had all of the starters been in, and the stars not sat down at halftime.

These pictures give a pretty accurate view of the match.

Forgot the monopod attachment, so I missed some pics due to shaky hands. I'll PM you later Wes when I upload the rest. I'll post a link here on this board too.

As JW mentioned, we pulled several players at or before the half. We also experimented with some guys playing at new positions. It was good for some guys to get some time to add to the team's depth, which will be important come November 5th-6th. Still, we didn't stay within our pattern very well today...but it is hard to stay the course when you are busy running over, around, and through the other team.

A huge thanks to JW for braving the cold and taking some pictures today. We are also going to be updating our website with new merchandise (we are almost done hammering out a deal with Kooga and Canterbury, two large rugby distributors). And RugbyBuck, I haven't forgotten about your kit bag. Those orders will be going out soon.
