2006 Spring Game info/discussion

speaking of research...

I’ve covered enough spring games to know that they look nothing like an actual football game. Usually the first-string offense goes against the first-strong defense for awhile, but not very long. And the kicking game is booooring.
uh no? spring game draft. kicking scrimmage. this doof might want to check out an OSU Spring Game.

Chris Wells will be on the field this year. That alone should be a huge draw for the spring game.

I'm going through serious football withdrawal right now.

My wife and kids are gone tomorrow night so I'm popping in my Fiesta Bowl tape followed by the Michigan game. I hope Ohio State wins!!!!

I think after those games you will realize that we are the class of the midwest. Those two teams have nothing on us.

I am kind of nervous about scUM, but Troy Smith owns them so look for a game ending drive by Smith.

I'm really looking forward to the Spring Game this year. I have to think it will be better than last year's 20 degrees and steady rain, sitting in ponchos with hot chocolate. It was my first time in the 'Shoe.

And then I went to the Northwestern game in late November wearing a light windbreaker and was sweating in the sunlight. Ahh, Ohio weather. :)

I made the mistake of bringing my wife last year...she wanted to leave after the first quarter...She did NOT get an invitation this year!

The first spring game I took my son to, was MC's 1st spring season...That next season turned out pretty good. I'll take both my boys this year and hope for the same outcome!

Good idea. Never take the wife/g/f to a wet or cold football game, they will always be whinning to go.

I had a friend that took his wife to a game and she left by herself in the first quarter b/c she was too cold.:! SHe went to a damn mall. Women and their shopping.

Well, I have to give mad props to my wife. She sat through the whole game and didn't complain once during the game. Didn't even ask if we could leave. Now I've heard about it once or twice a week since then and have been told that she's not going again this year if the weather is like that, but at least she knew enough during the game to keep her thoughts to herself.

I guess we are getting off topic, but we will eventually get back on, but I just had this to say.

When your closet is full and you have no more room to even fit a shirt in there, then you dont need any more clothes dammit.

Ok, back to talking about big strong men from the same team beating each other up. I will be there and there better be better weather than last year, Even know I was in the front row and not sitting in B-deck to aviod the rain.

Damn Women!!!!

I can't wait to see the young new guys running around! This will be my first spring game and was curious when people start populating the stadium.

For those of you who've been there in the past when do I need to be in stadium for front row seats? I'm trying to plan departure for the trip but the wife will throw in some pit stops on the way so I want to stay a few steps ahead of her. She's a true BUCKEYE and will fight through the weather regardless, but she's still a woman so I have to take that into consideration for departure time. I'll stop by and grap a few shirts too.
