you think the draft will be dominated by international players?

yes. I wouldn't waste a 1st rounder on any senior.
With a few underclasman , I would in a sec. Looks like the international players will dominate the draft.

Which senior stands out to you for a first rounder? none to me or I'm still in shock about last nights game:) are we really in the final 8:biggrin:

I wonder how many NCAA players will be in the first round. The senior class is very average at the best

Who I would take in the first (vs who will go then, which is listed above): Horford, Law, Fazekas, Tucker (later).

horford, noah arent srs.

my first thoughts were
thorton fsu
law am
byars vandy

then youve got
gray
almond
tucker
visser
brown
hosley
terry
hill
landry
fazekas
brooks
nichols
dudley
haluska
wyatt

young kids first. then my guess is the top guys wont be many srs, but the middle (say picks 20 to 40) will be a lot of the older kids. then my guess would be a lot of euros/asians at the end of the draft.

that being said i havent seen a single international player. but, im not making a multimillion dollar investment.

i think youll see the new draft rules have an interesting impact. id guess two things happen.
1. the nba will become more international (a good thing imo)
2. kids will realize college is a good thing and youll see more kids stay. im not saying 4 years. but, 2 or 3 and some kids will play it out who would have gone earlier.

IN THE DRAFT
Players who have officially declared for the 2007 NBA draft:

Corey Brewer, SG, Florida*
Chris Daniels, C, Texas A&M-Corpus Cristi*
Glen Davis, F, LSU
Taurean Green, PG, Florida*
Al Horford, PF, Florida*
Dominic McGuire, F, Fresno State*
Josh McRoberts, F, Duke
Joakim Noah, F/C, Florida*
Jason Smith, PF, Colorado State*
Marcus Williams, SF, Arizona*
* To preserve college eligibility, player has not hired an agent

There is a good list of names in article of players that are (supposedly) undecided about declaring for the NBA draft.

They make sense to me. The senior class is very weak.

Anyone else think that Taurean Green might not get drafted and if he does, it will be in the mid to late second round?

NBAdraft.net had him staying and going in the mid of the 2nd round next year...

I think someone will take him based on shooting and how he has led the team the past two years...The thing is that he is very small in stature and the NBA is not a fan of small guys...My guess is he will get drafted mid 2nd round, especially due to the lack of PG's in the draft...

(Yannick - edit - duh) Joakim Noah in the NBA: see Marcus Camby - rebounding and shot-blocking, but no outside shot, and too thin to score much in the post

Corey Brewer in the NBA: see Scottie Pippen - a wing with long arms, great lateral quickness as a defender, the ability to drive and hit the three
