I just love how the media idiots (a couple on ESPN) are saying that this suspension basically rewards the Spurs for the cheap shot.

Uh, do these dumbasses not remember, that it was a Big Ben flagrant foul and Piston fan that lead to Jackson's 40 game suspension and Artest's season long suspension? Weren't Big Ben and the Pistons "rewarded" then? By that idiotic logic, Big Ben shouls have been suspended for the whole year too.

Oh I get it. People didn't like Jackson and Artest. But they like the Suns and the adorable Nash. :roll1:

This ruling penalizes the stupid. Or in other words, the pea-brain Amare and Diow. Gee, did any Spurs jump the bench and join the fracas?

I'm opinonated about things at which there should be no debate.

There is no debate that hte Suns morons deserved to be suspended. They broke a rule. There was precedent set before (players have been suspended for coming out and doing nothing). End of story.

Maybe the Suns need to get their own Stoo Grimson who will leap off the bench whenever one of their players gets knocked over, thus avoided a suspension to a better player.

The best part about this is how Nash's acting job cost him.

did you know there is a line in that rule that implies that the future ejections only apply in the case of a "fight". since no one was ejected for fighting, there couldn't have been a fight, thus they didn't come from the bench onto the court during a "fight". its a loophole i know, but nonetheless as Tibor has been so quick to point out, the rule is the rule. this whole thing is just beyond rediculous.

The Bulls look they they are going to try and make a series out of this one...As long as they can hold onto an 18 pt lead they are going to force a game 6 and they are at home...It looks like the Pistons got lazy like they did against the Cavs last year, and the Bulls have started hitting shots...

Agreed. Why some have trouble understanding that basic concept is baffling.

In hockey, if a player cracks somebody's skull with a stick, and the other team has 8 players leave the bench, who do you think gets suspended? "Oh, gee, the victim's team will be hurt if they're suspended, so we should just forget that they acted like dumbasses and forget one of the basic rules of the game that EVERYBODY knows." :roll1:

Why is it that when a team takes quicks shots and misses them its a horrible gameplan, and they are playing rushed (Doug Collins)....yet thus far tonight Golden State has played the same exact basketball they have been the entire series....making a few more, but its suddenly "playing with house money, they're relxed, and playing great basketball"? I hate commentators for the most part......I just wish some of these guys actually "saw" the game....all the intricate details really great fans see, yet so many commentators miss
