I agree. Howard is going to be disgusting. The Suns are extremely entertaining. The Bulls are back in the picture. D Wade will probably be back next year. Oden, Durant, and others coming in next year will help. As long as the players can behave themselves, the NBA seems to be in good shape.

Another thing to think about is that a guy like Durant who would of been another small fish in a big pond getting picked probably in the mid teens last year, now has made a huge name for himself and the excitement for following him will be there...Oden was a big name, but not he is going to have that many more followers...

Then you have the Florida guys that made a name for themselves in college...

The only unknown now is really the players from overseas...

BTW every series in the West...Each team has at least 1 win...

I was really surprised by the Lakers game tonight. Should be interesting to see what happens in Game 4. Regardless of the outcome, this really shows how great of a series coach Phil Jackson is.

I agree, but you had to figure that Kobe would carry the Lakers for at least one or two games if the Suns struggled a little...The Lakers gave the Suns all they wanted last year in the first round...

Agreed. I really want to see what happens with Bynum. The Lakers refused to trade him this year, and I haven't seen much of him. Also, I am pretty surprised that Odom hasn't stepped up more. Not to mention they have a PG from the D-League.

It also helped the Lakers that Kwame Brown played the game of his life. I still think the Suns take that series in 5.

Yeah, but it was the guys like Kobe, Odom, Walton driving to the hoop and getting him dunks...The Lakers played a very good offensive game against the Suns and didnt fully get caught up in the run and gun game of the Suns...

actually this shows that the Suns aren't that great as a team. they will always blow teams out every now and then and people will gush about how great they are. But their D is mediocre..still. To get outrebounded as bad as they did against the Lakers of all teams is embarrassing.

i disagree 100%. losing one game in a 7 game series does not prove that you aren't that great. the suns have a terrible habit of blowing big leads. shit happens, thats why they play 7. to say the suns aren't that great implies that they are average at best. we all know that isn't true. they are one of the best teams in the NBA. what you should say is that a performance like that shows that they are not quite a championship calliber team. that i would agree with.

did anyone see that jim grey interview of david stern during the GS/Dallas game just now? what a piece of shit. that guy really needs to learn that there is a time and a place for everything.

When I said "not that great", I meant not an NBA championship team. I really don't think they can beat the Spurs, Mavs, or even the Pistons. But I guess we'll see.

What's wrong with what Stern said? I found his honesty refreshing.

Well I was wrong in thinking that Miami would come back and get the next 2 in Miami...At this point they are hanging on by a string and it looks like they will take an early exit from the playoffs...

Chicago and Detroit should be a very good second round matchup...

NJ took a 2-1 series lead...I think that might be on their way to a second round matchup with the Cavs...

Also GS is putting a hurtin' on Dallas early in this game...Up 18

Chicago is doing to Miami what I thought they would. It appears I may have given Miami too much credit. I figured they would at least take it to 6. The great part is, I don't see this team getting better next year.

Golden State is shockingly good. Why the hell haven't more of their games been on tv? I think I've seen nearly three times as many Pacers games as I have Warriors games.

Anyways, this appears to be a good game. The Warriors place is rocking like the Q was last year.

So the teams in last year's NBA Finals are now a combined 1-5.

With Dallas in serious trouble, one downside for me is the possibility that Phoenix will win the title. I love watching that team play, but Jalen Rose getting a ring as the #10 guy in their rotation would make me ill.

Suns struggle mightly against the Spurs...I don't see them getting by them...
