2008 Cavs-Wizards First Round series

The Warriors were under the radar last year, but didn't act like a bunch of punks, when they knocked off the Mavs...

What have the Cavs done that shows they don't exude class...

That wasn't a 4/5 match up...what was it a 1/8 or 2/7? The Wiz are a 5...and still get very little respect. And Stephen Jackson and company??? Please.

So, what have the Cavs done to show class? Have Powder run over to get in Twan's face? Have Whiney LeBron get up in Haywood's nuts? Have Lebron force trades at the deadline and point blame?:roll1:

We'll see what kind of classy guy LeBron is when he bails on the Cavs to go to the Nets. Meanwhile Agent 0 is re-negotiating his contract for less money so his teamates can make more and stay together. I'm just sayin...

If you watch the replay, the whole altercation would have been much worse had Lebron wanted it. If you want to overreact to a "nothing" situation, then go talk to your boy Amare about it. It's playoff basketball. No pussies allowed.

ONE DOWN.

Just got back from the game. I was amazed that the Cavs were able to pull it out with the horrible refs. It seemed like the Cavs would drive get whacked and not get a call. The Wizards would get every ticky tack foul.
Arenas is the biggest bitch I've ever seen in the NBA and one of the few players that I wish would have a career ending injury so I wouldn't have to see his punk ass anymore. This series is going to get really chippy if it goes 6-7 games. I just hope for some fair refs from here on out.

I don't know enough about basketball to really put too much of an argument against this but the FTA really point otherwise

I didn't have much beef with the refs other than the one no call against Blatche when he hit LBJ in the mug...

When at the game it is always worse, because the crowd thinks they should get every call...

I will save the trash talking till after the series, so I don't have to insert my foot in my mouth...

The game Tuesday is a big one...need to go to Washington with a 2-0 advantage...

You were under the radar until your character started to seep out. I honestly was terrified when we pulled Washington in round 1 because I knew you would make it tough on us and I didn't think we would take you seriously. You went ahead and illuminated any pot hole there might have been for us. I was just saying a few days ago to a friend of mine that if your team had a coach or a leader they would have smacked Stevenson upside the head on national television and scolded him. How many times has Lebron stepped on your throats? Did you honestly think that you could intimidate Lebron? Or force him to take every shot to prove an irrelevant player wrong? Any chance you had relied heavily upon catching us sleeping.

Game 1 was great in my opinion. You can see the team outside of Bron turning up the intensity. We never once got this for an entire game out of the season. Everyone overlooks our team because they fall into a dependence on Lebron and then they play with some sort of withdrawal when he is off the court. When our team focuses instead of depending on him to score we are championship caliber. Luckily when it is time to go Lebron and our team pick it up and shift into a new gear.

So we got a good workout today without Lebron having to take over. If we can get 3 more of these close games without Lebron feeling the need to spend to much energy we will be in a great rhythm for Boston.

BTW Id like to say that Arenas was not being disrespectful. ESPN totally took his comments on the opportunity to play us out of context. (What a surprise) They could only have played us, Orlando, Detroit, or Boston in round 1. It's fine with me if he thinks we are the weaker of those four. Stevenson on the other hand is not even qualified to critique Lebron. It's actually unbelievable how he managed to set himself up to be so certainly humiliated.

The Wizards are playing garbage basketball...A hard foul is one thing, but they are out to hurt guys...Not going for the ball two hands to chest...Glad to see Haywoods sorry ass get kicked out of the game...

The Cavs are playing a great game and not getting caught up in the garbage and just letting it fuel their fire...

That foul on Haywood was ridiculous. If he had injured Lebron he would be lucky to make it out of Cleveland. You can't two hand shove a guy that is in full flight like that. I hope that SOB is suspended for the next game for that. If Wally can continue to play like this the Cavs are going to do well in the playoffs.

Not surprising. Eddie Jordan is piece of shit.

Man Boobie is starting to heat up...

West has played great...He is the PG we have been missing...Doesn't have the length that Larry had on D, but good defender, very good rebounder from the PG position...

Lebron has taken his game to a new level on both ends...

Wally has stepped his game up...

Z is playing really good...

Big Ben is ready for the playoffs...

Wild Thing has been very good...

Joe smith is solid...

Devin Brown is solid...

Not trying to get ahead of myself here as the games at Washington are going to be very heated and tough, and I would love to escape with one or two, but we are going to be on their court, but this team is truly built for the playoffs, not the regular season for games against Milk and Chicago...

They took care of business at home. That's what they needed to do. The series is a long way from over.

I thought the foul by Haywood was a Flagrant 1. He definately did not make a play on the ball, but he did not foul as hard as he could have. I'd hate to see him suspended for Game 3, because we don't need to hear excuses from the Wiz if we pull off that game.
