I tried to post this in the TP thread, but that has been closed. Anyway, many thinks that if Mallett leaves Michigan, then TP will likely go there. If Mallett stays, then TP comes to OSU. I am not sure which school TP will choose (most likely OSU), but Mallett's decision has absolutely nothing to do with where TP wants to go. If TP wants to go to Michigan, he will go there regardless if Mallett decides to stay because Mallett has zero chance of beating TP in RR's offensive schemes.

Like the Mods have said, I would be shock if he chooses anyone else besides OSU...though I have been shocked before :(
Great post...do you have any updates on Barksdale?

Ok I know the helmet sticker thing is taking over this thread but I wanted to try and clear up the exchange on the bench.

The end of the 3rd Quarter: Terrelle Pryor sitting with Posey. The camera closes in and Terrelle is talking about Posey-

"...Posey and the O State baby." Tapping the Buckeye on the back of the helmet "Thats Buckeyes baby! Thats Buckeyes." He takes a look at the helmet closer and says: "Oh, thats my helmet. I forgot" with a sly grin on his face. Posey's words werent clear but he was saying something along the lines of "All day. TP all day. O State." For what thats worth.(I guess the government got their moneys worth for my training.):wink2:

I rewatched it again this evening to try and just watch the Buckeye recruits.

People thought Shugarts would get beat by Forston but he more than held his own, so much so that after the 1st quarter Forston was moved over to the opposite side. Shugarts cut blocks and pass protection were nearly perfect. Great game by JB.

Adams is outstanding and never quit on any plays.

Flash is incredible with the ball in his hands. TP and Flash in the backfield running some type of read play is as good as White/Slaton potentially. I cant say enough about this possibility.

At first I thought Jenkins didnt play much. I went back over the tapes and the reason I thought he didnt play much is because he absolutely dominated his man all day long and they didnt get a sniff off of him. Man I hope he ends up in Columbus.

I wish Buchanon/Brewster could've played.:(

Sabino was taken out of the action alot due to the schemes I think. Same thing with Stoneburner.

Posey had a lot of good things said about him but it seemed like he didnt have a lot of separation from the DB's this game. Again that could be schemes and whatnot and the fact that the East could run it at will all game.

Those are my takes on Buckeye players and I believe we've got some great ones coming to Columbus!

I, for one, enjoyed seeing Boubacar Cissoko practice for his Buckeye-UM games by being toasted repeatedly. He should get used to that, at least in games played in late November. It's a Wolverine cornerback tradition.
On the other hand, all the Notre Dame recruits on the East should enjoy their bowl win, cause it'll be their last for the next four or five years. :tongue2:

Let's not forget, what's shaping up to be one of the most talented and nastiest o-lines to come through the program. Damn I love o-state. If we can pull off getting both TP and Jenkins, I think this class would have to go down as possibly one of the best classes by any program. Not to mention, pretty much all of these guys will be going into spring practices having already hung out with each other, roomed together and trust each other :osu:

I think they can be better than White and Slaton.

Agreed.

TP has the potential to completely blow Pat White away, and LT has the athleticism and skills to be just as good as Steve Slaton, and maybe even better as Slaton hasn't been doing too much to write home about lately.

Gotta say that I love the fact how all the future Buckeyes were reacting and interacting. They seemed to take a lot of pride in going to OSU and always were around each other. Pride in the bucks, and a cohesive pattern, Nice.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I went back and watched the highlights. Its awesome how much our recruits have already bought into the program and coach tress. I think flash and posey may serve to be our 2 best assests, esp as signing day gets closer. I'm pretty sure posey and maybe flash were the ones dumping the water on the coach at the end. It seems these 2 are very personable, and they certainly have taken guys like JJ and TP under their wings. Maybe they come, maybe they don't, but it seems tress has done a great job going after players who are buckeyes at heart, and thats how you build a team :osu:
