Whew! Penn State hangs on. 1-0 Good guys. Now we need everyone else to do their part. Call me crazy but I think that IU-Maryland game could be a surprise upset for the B10. IU has a couple of BAD losses but Maryland smoked 4 cupcakes at the beginning of the year then played 2 pretty good teams and got handled by both.

I think Gary Williams will sweat:) his team to a victory over the boys from Bloomington but it would not bother me for once if Indiana could help out the Big 10 err 11.

Optimist. :tongue2: I hope you're right. Indiana and Iowa are our worst two matchups in this whole deal. Crean can make a nice statement as to where he has IU with a good showing or upset.

Obviously, MSU can make the real statement tonight about this conference and do a lot to help their tournament seeding with a win in Chapel Hill.

PU and IU in tight games at home. Sure would like to get both. I kinda expected PU to win while IU would be a pleasant surprise.

PU on a 9-0 run to take the lead.

BTW, did you know the Big Ten has never won this thing? It's a shame the announcers have never told us this fact. :roll2:
