Kettering LB Chris Borland instantly committed to Wisconsin after receiving an offer at camp. His father is from Madison, grandfather went to UW, and he has a lot of family there, so Wisconsin was his dream school. His dad posts on the Wisconsin Rivals' site and he's been lobbying for UW to offer for months. Anybody have an opinion on Borland? I don't even know where Kettering is in Ohio or how difficult the competition is. Reach offer for a legacy or not? Basically the entire film is him playing on offense so I can't glean an informed opinion.

Kettering is a suberb of Dayton and the competition is pretty good down there. Not up to the level it is in Cincinnati, but still solid and it has produced some very good players. I don't know anything about him as a player, but if he can standout against that competition he can definitely play. Other schools such as Trotwood-Madison, Centerville, Clayton Northmont, Dayton-Chaminade, Piqua and Middletown and located fairly close that you may have heard of. If I'm not mistaken Kettering Alter is also the same high school as former Buckeye, current New York Jet, Nick Mangold.

He has camped well this year and earned MVP Honors at the Nike Training Camp in May and his measurables are fairly decent. I don't know what the standards are for UW when recruiting LBs or their need for them but he seems like a decent player with skills. He is also very versatile from what I've seen.

Kettering plays some decent teams. Not quite on par with the tops in the state, but solid nonetheless. Lakota West, Alter, Centerville, Wayne, and Northmont are all on their schedule for this year. They're in the Greater Western Ohio Conference, which also includes notables like Trotwood-Madison, Troy, and Springboro. All of those schools have produced D1 talent at some point or another.

Can anyone tell me anything about Audrey Walker of Glenville? He may be the biggest freshman I've ever seen!

Isn't Walker the freshman in the picture alongside Hall! I can't find the link, but if he is the one, he is HUGE!! I am sure he is on the Staffs radar looking forward!!

Centerville OL Jake Feldmeyer has committed to Illinois:

JJHuddle.com - Centerville OL Feldmeyer makes the call to Illinois

Feldmeyer is the next great player to come out of this storied program.

The Centerville offense did a lot of damage last year running behind this outstanding lineman. Like so many linemen in the Class of 2009, Feldmeyer is a very physical player. He gets a good punch and shows great lower body strength. He locks up his man and it is over.

Feldmeyer is an adept run blocker but will need to work on pass blocking as Centerville rarely throws the ball. He is a very lean 260 pounds and h moves really well.

His technique is quite good for a high school player. He gets his pads underneath and moves his feet. I see a player that can get to the 290-300-pound range and still be the same kind of football player.

He plays tackle in high school and has some length to his body but I think Feldmeyer will be a guard in college. He is one of the more underrated linemen in the state this year.

This really is a "bumper crop", type year for OL in Ohio. There are recruits the staff feels are tOSU worthy, which more than once in the last 5 years hasn't been the case. In addition, great recruits the staff is passing on, are going to big name BCS conference schools.
