you're skipping guys like Chris Henry and Pat Lazear. certainly there are others as well.
They didn't have "cool" nicknames so that I could coin another for Feagin. Although I probably should have used "8-Ball" instead, but it didn't fit with the 80's video game theme.

Very true about the others. No matter how you slice it, RR is one of the Al Davi of the CFB world, looking at potential and talent alone and not the person.

But Kurt Wermers transferred because he's a racist.

RR, what a classy guy!!! This is a story about Feagin but the story (if true) just shows what an ass clown he is.....

The Big House Blog

Moral of this story: RR had a very small window to recruit a dual threat QB. He picked off a guy in Florida who had an upside but was a very raw QB. Rich Rod also mentioned (I believe at Media Day) that he recruited a few guys that weren't Michigan caliber that didn't work out. With that quote, I believe Feagin to be that example.

Verbatim report of College Football Live on Feagin:

"Joe Schad reports that former Michigan QB/WR Justin Feagin will not have an opportunity to play for Appalachian State now; due to academic concerns and a recent report that Feagin was involved in an alleged cocaine deal."

No mention of the fire, or even that the incident occurred while he was at TSUN.

New uniforms, facility highlight Michigan practice | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press
• Quarterback Jason Forcier and defensive backs Adrian Witty and Justin Turner all have lockers with nameplates. All are awaiting NCAA clearance to be eligible to practice -- they were not on the field -- but are obviously expected, given the lockers created for them. Witty and Turner are also listed on the roster, though Forcier is not.
• The quarterbacks who are anticipated to compete for playing time -- Nick Sheridan, Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson -- all took snaps in the drills. As expected, Sheridan and Forcier were sharper throwing the ball than Robinson.

Sheridan was better at throwing the ball than someone? Wow.

I see that Forcier has finally unleashed the gun show by taking off the long sleeves, apparently he still needs the sweat bands to protect his girlish wrists though

A comment on Feagin on mlive:

Maybe Feagin will find the level of competition at Appy State more to his liking.

So many jokes... I can't decide!

Is that like being "one of England's loudest bands"? At least it will cement their place as the premier punting program in the country.
