Yeah, I was looking forward to hearing "And Beaver takes it hard from behind!!" as he got sacked from the blind side during The Game.

The possibilities were endless but that's all behind us now because somebody got their ass kicked on the recruiting trail by freakin' Tulsa.

Even when they suck they piss me off.

THE DECOMMIT ? MERRILL NOEL: Noel’s Decision Impacts Other Programs
When Noel first committed to Florida State, the common thought was that Florida State would then only have enough room for one more DB in the 2010 class, which would be held for all-world Cornerback Lamarcus Joyner. This then impacted four-star CB/S Rashad Knight, who in spite of many great offers didn’t receive the Seminole offer he so badly wanted. As a result, teams like Michigan, Illinois, and Georgia entered the picture for Knight. Knight went as far to name the Wolverines his leader – a move that prompted the maize and blue fan base to rejoice.

But now all bets are off.

Noel moving over to Wake Forrest frees up FSU to offer Knight, a move that some expect is now inevitable. The presumption has been that if FSU did offer Knight, he would surely drop for them. While this scenario would likely burn Michigan a bit, the Wolverines are still in on some excellent Defensive Backs. But it is the versatility that Knight possesses that makes him such a desired prospect – as he can move from Safety to Cornerback and cover wideouts and can do so with a physicality that makes most coaches drop their jaws.

Most of this hasn’t played out yet, but expect it to. With Noel switching to Wake Forrest the first domino has fallen.

Boy O Boy the defensive recruiting for Michigan is taking alot of shots lately. They thought they had Rush in the bag...ouch.

For the first time in years, I am not worried about our secondary (i feel like I am speaking too soon) if our incoming recruits live up to the hype.

You are expecting an awful lot out of freshmen. Good luck with that.

yes, true. I am thinking next year will be a mediocre year for us. I look for the 2010 season for our defense to start clicking. Although I must say I will feel much better with a safety other than Stevie Brown roaming around.

I actually like Dileo alot, Drake I am not sold on.

See, I'm the other way around. I'm kinda "meh" on Dileo, and really like Drake. His competition is top notch and he plays the exact same position in the same offense that he will at UM. And he's really shifty and has great quickness. He doesn't have blazing speed, but will make defenders miss. Dileo plays in a very low division, and he seemed to go down on first contact a lot.
