The amazing thing about these transfers is how automatic it seems that guys with injury/PT situations get out of Ann Arbor ASAP: at other schools there are a lot of guys who are invested in the program and will stick it out even as a backup, but I guess playing for a Dick like Rod isn't worth the effort if you're not starting for scUM.

Shhhhhhhhh!

The recruits leaving are Carr's which is understanable its not what they signed up for.

If you've never read it you should.

As incompetent as I think RR is I don't for one second believe he's running off players that can't help him on the field by accident. The Boren type defections are not what he wants but the kids buried in the depth chart are under performing assets if you are the type of coach inclined to look at them that way.

RR is a scumbag but he's by no means the first coach that wants to exchange his under performing assets for a new ones that may perform better. Best way to do that is make them want to quit.

At first I would agree but how many transfers/players has Michigan missed out on? Maybe 20 because I just can't keep up anymore. That doesn't happen any where regardless of circumstances. RR is known for having a horrible first season and turning it around his second season. I hope he can continue the trend.

It should be an interesting season. If Michigan can make a bowl game this year I will be a happy man.

Anybody else watch the UM practice on BTN?

First day with pads on, and Dear Lord, their RBs are absolutely trucking over the DBs in 1-on-1s. Whoever CB #12 is must have whiplash.

I am not posting this because I think highly of their RBs, either. :paranoid:

Tackling is still eff'ing terrible.

The DB's must be the control group. That is the only reasonable explanation.

The rest of the team works out with BARWIS!!!!11!! and become near superhuman, the DB's are kept from working out with BARWISS!!!!11!! and remain mortal to provide unquestionable proof to any outsiders who dare doubt the awesomeness of BAWIS!!!!!!11!!

Its the only way to explain the DB's constantly sucking. That or the culture of the program under RR doesn't place a strong emphasis on defense in general and we all know that can't be it.

I would have thought that as bad as the secondary has been lately, they would've worked on this through bowl practice last season.

Oh, snap!
