2010 TSUN News offseason (football)

Really? Um, that crack taste good there buddy? They lost their best, by far, DLineman and this guy thinks they look more smash-mouth up front? The D 1s were going against the O 2s and 3s, so I think you have to take a bag of salt with the "smash-mouthing" the front 7 does.

Leaves me wondering if their OL is garbage. Either their DL is really good...or their OL isn't.

Where would you put your vcash?

Their OL should actually be pretty decent this year. In practice, their ones aren't matched up on eachother. I think their DL will be decent, but the back seven will be a disaster again...especially without Graham wreaking havoc in opposing backfields this year.

Just a curious thing - why is it that it seems we always hear about how well their offense or defense did in practice, but it is always 1's against 2's or 3's? Do they ever run 1's against 1's? Or, is that just the nature of most teams' practice regimen - to run a mix of different squads? It seems as though I typically hear about how well our best athletes performed against each other along with hearing about the 2nd and 3rd teams. But with scUM it's always along the lines of "DRob tore up the 2nd team defense..."

They run 1 v 1's everyday in practice, but for whatever reason during spring games and open house scrimmages they usually go 1 vs 2's.

This really isn't that hard to answer. The reason they do it is so all of the posters on Mgoblog, Stadium and Main, Tom Beaver, etc. can feel all warm and fuzzy while typing "ZMOG!!!! WE HAVE THE FASTEST, MOST BESTEST QBS/RBS/WRS/DLS/OLS/LBS/CB/S/WATERBOYS EVAH!!!!! WE WILL DROP 100,000 POINTS PER GAME WITH THE GUYZ!!!!!BARWIS!!!!"

Otherwise, what fun would it be to be a michigan fan in today's world?

To be fair, MGoBlog used to be stocked with reasonable people who wouldn't spin losing players to transfers or the offense carving up the Charmin soft defense as a good thing. In the past 12-18 months, it's been overrun by mouthbreathing Walmart Wolverines. What was once an objective, readable website is now choked with retards.

They uh, don't look that good right now. Definately don't seem like a team poised for much of an upgrade in terms of wins. They look, if possible, smaller than last year.
