2012 British Open at Royal Lytham and St. Annes

Tiger started hot and fell back a bit to finish -3. He could have easily been -6 after 9. Feeling like he has a legit shot this week as he is sporting the Fu Manchu look and embracing the evil.

Phil just poked a 7 iron around 215 on a par 3....amazing how far these guys hit the ball....

The Field is always tempting over there. Conditions can make a poor player great, and a great player poor. Depending on the day

Doesn't always depend on the day, sometimes it is the time of day. As we are already seeing today, the early tee times had great conditions whereas the afternoon tee times are dealing with a wee bit of rain and some gusting winds.

I realize they have to "Kiss his A" to get an interview of more than a minute, but in reflection and watching it online, I don't know if I can think of more of a suck-up to Tiger Woods than Tom Rinaldi of ESPN.

But ESPN kisses up to the "hits", so it's expected.

Spend a day dealing with his arthritis and I doubt you'd care about what people thought of how many gloves you wear. Just sayin'

tell me about it. I remember walking to work when I lived over there. It was a 7 minute walk, and it would go from sun, to clouds, to rain, to sun in that 7 minute span sometimes.

If you have read a majority of my posts around Phil and golf in general you would know that I am without a doubt one of Phil's biggest fans. I am well aware of his arthritis issues and have no doubt that with the weather it affected his play this week. It was painfully obvious that when he went to the two gloves yesterday it had an affect on his swing and his putting. Just sayin.....
