2012 TSUN football news

On the heels of their bball comeuppance (being denied their first #1 ranking since the Fab Five - 20 years ago - and their empty case of hardware).

Potential 5-star Damon Webb shocked everyone by committing to OSU. This is the equivalent of Glenville WR Marshon Lattimore choosing Michigan, except in a state that produces about a tenth as much talent.

This adds to their 2014 in-state woes, as 2-sport superstar WR Drake Harris has already pledged to the Spartans.

You can bet Hoke & his parroting fans are woried about "Ohio" raiding both of their defensive ends, given Urban's dominance in recruiting that position. They are hot on the heels of Malik McDowell & Lawrence Marshall.

Just to round out the day, 5-star RB Ty Isaac (who spurned UM for USC) may be flipping to the Domers.

MSU already has Drake Harris another top 2014 prospect from TSUN. We shall see how good Hoke really is at recruiting.

To be accurate, I believe Harris is committed to MSU for basketball. There has been speculation that if he decides to concentrate on football that he would reopen his recruitment. Time will tell. I agree that if Harris sticks with MSU that would be 2 of the top 5 in MI for '14 that would be off the board for Hoke.

SCUM just got Samuelson to flip and they would still take a commitment from Hunt. That would give them 7 OL in a year that they need playmakers at WR,CB and DE.

The evidence (or evidents) that their coaches are not happy with last years OL haul of Bars, Braden, Kalis (injury?) and Magnuson is growing.
