Pantoni tweeted a picture of the OSU fax machine this morning.

Aren't we a little ahead of that as far as the technology goes? I can scan a copy of my paycheck and deposit it via my cell phone but these kids still have to use a fax machine? Do we people still correspond via fax machine? We haven't had a fax machine in my office, which is paper-intensive, for the last five years. Can't these kids sign, scan and email? Can't they come up with an electronic signature process like I did with my auto insurance? We've put a man on a moon but the OSU staff has to sit around a fax machine that they probably want to take to a desolate field while listening to the Ghetto Boys and pummel it into oblivion like Peter Gibbons, Michael Bolton and Samir Nagheenanajar in Office Space?

Coach Meyer also mentioned how they had been recruiting Dontre Wilson since last January & how they really went hard after him.

I was listening to it, but was to busy trying to find a stream (Hopelessly no less) of the James Clark announcement that was imminent at the time to write any of this out.

There was a funny story involving Dontre Wilson. Coach Meyer said he was on the phone with Wilson's coach this morning & he was told that there were some issues with the fax machine and that Dontre was having last minute seconds thoughts. Coach Meyer said his heart sank the moment he heard that & then Wilson's coach said he was just playing around & everything was good to go. Never heard of such an instance, but Coach Meyer was able to laugh it off in the interview.
