Having passion for your school doesn't excuse stupid comments like "I would of liked to see a USC, Texas, Alabama, etc. type team in there", when we've already had home/away series with Texas and USC in the very recent past, and have series with top-flight teams like Va Tech, Oklahoma, TCU, Oregon, and Texas (again) already scheduled. California was top-notch when we scheduled them, as was Da U whom we played in 2010 and 2011. Look at this 19-season stretch where we've played/will play a top-notch school every single year:

2009 USC
2010 Miami
2011 @Miami
2012 California
2013 @California
2014 Va Tech
2015 @Va Tech
2016 @Oklahoma
2017 Oklahoma

The 2007 Washington game was the second of a delayed home/away with them (first game was 2003 in The Shoe). Washington was decent when we scheduled them but all other teams were at the height of their success when we booked them. No one can give us shit if we happen to schedule an FCS (I-AA) team once every few years. So when you bitch about us not play "big-boy" ball, you're going to get smacked down.

Can't think of another major national championship contender that has scheduled what we have in the past and future. A few schools are starting to really kick it up a notch though with some big games, Oregon & LSU lately pop in my head.
