2014 RB Discussion and Debate.

Cute gifs. But rather pointless.
I stated that Elliott could get a lot of carries, not that he'd be a clear cut starter... But please post more gifs. They're Amusing

Woah....I just thought that comment was funny. Just because you said "it's way too early" sure ain't going to stop it from happening. That was the point of the thread since people were using individual player threads to tell me who would be starting next year.

As far as the Zeke thing goes...it only needed one gif.

Gotcha. I hear u and see where u were going. This is going to be a very interesting convo for the rest of yhe season and going into the off season. Following urban and staff, I wouldnt be surprised if we were all wrong and curtis samuel got more carries than returning RBs.
Sorry for being emotional, but the Steelers lost lol

Obviously there is going to be some kind of pecking order. But I honestly think that Smith, Zeke,
Ball or Dunn could rush for 1,000 yds. if given the opportunity to be the main guy.

Especially in the weak B1G conference.. Any of them could be 1000 yard backs, but I doubt there will be one because the ball will be spread around too much. Unless one of the backs can prove he is head and shoulders better than the others like Hyde has shown this year.

Hyde has made Tom Herman's job as OC so much easier this year because he knows Hyde will get his when his number is called.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the O-Line in the above sentence.

I am amazed that our depth at the skill positions is so great that i am expecting some atrition. I see one of smith, ball or dunn leaving. I just hope they go to another big ten team. They would likely start at 8-9 of big ten schools. Yet if Braxton leaves, we have a question mark at QB. Will Cardale step up, is Barrett healing up nicely, I dont imagine Collier is ready? My guess is Barret will step up if he is healed. If Cardale gets some time with the QB guru this spring he could make similar advances as Braxton did. It just looks like a mess, we have a roster of backups. Meyer put huge emphasis on getting a top QB in 2014. I am in no way bashing on Collier, he has great potential, but it seemed after the injury of Barrett that we needed someone who could start from day 1.
