2015-16 Ohio State Quarterback Discussion

Saban made a point in the post game, is Cardale added something that Barrett didnt show and maybe its because he doesn't have the arm strength. but Saban said Jones arm strength added the ability for our WRs to make plays downfield, which makes me think back and i dont really remember Barrett winging it downfield too often, he seemed to be the master of the short and intermediate passing game, which asks the question, is it a play calling thing or an arm strength thing? i tend to lean towards arm strength, but thats ok as long as he's still putting up 45+ TDs

IMO,

Braxton, best runner of the 3, and the weakest passer, and now with a damaged shoulder.

Cardale, absolutely NFL caliber arm, pretty decent power running threat.

Barrett, seems to understand passing game best (hate to say "intelligence" without slamming the other two QBs, but I did!), good touch on short, medium passes, good running threat, and perhaps best overall option at QB.

Remember when Bauserman was our best option? Man, have things changed!

I actually think theres a good chance collier leaves or quits. Freshman and Sophmores ahead of him that he probably wont pass anytime soon, plus an elite DT QB and another very good one in this class in Burrow.
