Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

So, game was on ESPN last night. Only caught second half. It was one of those abbreviated games. Worst telecast of it's type I've ever seen. There were points where they literally showed one play and then cut to commercial. Three commercials... and other points where they showed three plays in a row because football... then three more commercials. I'm at my sis-in-law's house. Had it been mine I would have just watched the game on my DVR if I wanted to watch it. Guess it was better than nothing, but it was just barely better than nothing. Better coverage on YouTube.
The commercial breaks were necessary because the ESPN crew needed time to apply more KY Jelly.

The first show I've ever watched with more actual time spent on commercial break than on the content itself. What a joke. I've enjoyed ESPNU generally, but this one was a zero. YouTube rocks, though.

I didn't watch this one, but I watched a few minutes of the Buckeye/Tide game on before it and thought the same thing. On Ohio State's first drive, with Zeke's hurdle and big run down the sideline this was what they showed of the drive:

Punt return
Commercial Break
Field Goal
Commercial Break
Alabama First down

Then I turned it off.

All games available on YouTube, most of them in HD. Why would you ever turn on espin? Am I the only one with an HTPC hooked up to my big TV?

Dear God,

Please let these be full games and not the 1 play : 3 commercial BS that ESPN pulled with the CFNC Game a couple of weeks ago.

Sincerely,
