Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

They were hit pretty hard with injuries on the OLine if I remember correctly.
I remember that game and yeah they were missing some offensive lineman but also offensively the first time around Arizona had good success on the ground which set up the pass. In their Re-match I believe the Arizona QB was pretty banged up but Oregon did a much better job at stopping the run.

In saying that it's hard to beat someone twice. There was a ton of Tape on how to stop what Arizona and what they liked to do against your team because of that I knew Oregon would win (not quite so fantastically but nonetheless)

Makes me nervous the players are talking about having a dynasty before they play this game. I'm sure Urban will have a stern talking-to with Dontre and Eli etc.. about focus
They did say "If we win next week" and he's right... If we win things look very bright next year obviously... there was a lot of IF not when. I'm also sure he was asked a question that warranted that answer I'm sure he didn't just spit it out.

edited: Regardless I want this team to know they're going to win. I want them to go out there and to rip that title away from Oregon. This is how you do it, you did it with the belief that you are the best and that it was a mistake for them to even be there. You don't win games fearing teams

RANT ALERT-
I'm a little pissed off about the price for tickets to this game. I don't know what face value is, but I just looked at Stubhub and there's nothing for less than about $550 (and it goes through the roof from there). I understand about capitalism and making money; blah, blah, blah.... But really, who can afford this? I know the stadium will be full with people who are willing to pay, but why should we have to pay the cost of these tickets? I think it sucks that tickets sell for ridiculous sums like this. It would probably cost me between $2,500 and $3,000, easy, to go to the game with my son. I have the money; I could do it if I wanted to, but that's not the point. We should be able to go and support our team without putting a huge dent in our savings accounts, or maxing out our credit cards.

I'm finished now.

We now return you to your previously scheduled Buckeye championship discussion.

I guess the problem is there are 500,000 people that would buy tickets for $150 each. So if tickets prices were lower, you likely wouldn't have a chance to buy them, they would be gone.

I have two tickets, and am considering letting them go, but for face, $470.

I wonder how many tickets are purchased by individuals vs corporate entertainment budgets (including the ncaa and the schools). Remove the student tix and I bet the % of non- corporate purchases would be surprisingly low. The result is fewer tickets driving up prices and making this not a 'family' event.

I think face is about $400, yes?

Huge news just came out about players parents going from $800 total to $1,250 per parent in form of a stipend. What a difference, and hopefully can get some more in future years. Urban and Annie Apple were huge in this push.

I didn't know that parents even got a stipend in the first place. Nice to see the increase which will greatly offset most of the cost of the trip.
