2016 CFB Week 13 Open Thread

A lot still to happen but Iowa's blowout of Nebraska could come back to bite us in the ass. Next week Iowa will likely jump UN in the rankings, simultaneously strengthening psu's resume and hurting ours. I still don't think psu would beat wiscy in the ccg but if they do, they'll have a stronger profile than they had before today. Once again, thanks Nebraska

PoSU lost by 39 points to Michigan. If that was their only loss it'd be one thing, but they also lost to Pitt. Iowa beating Nebraska isn't going to change that.

Despite all the chatter this year, I'll believe a two-loss team not named Alabama gets into the 4 team CFP when I see it. If there are 4 one-loss/unbeaten teams from power 5 conferences, that's the CFP until the committee shows otherwise.

I get the whole it may be better if Penn State wins thing, but I would rather crush Wisconsin and go in to the playoff on strong footing. Wisconsin is physical though, so I get the other viewpoint.

I think you're right but that doesn't negate that it helped psu. I don't care though. I just witnessed one of the greatest games in Buckeye history

As it stands now the Buckeyes are in unless the committee has a major change of heart. OSU has been #2 for a couple weeks, and just beat the #3 team - pretty or not, they were #3. Three things could happen next week, and two of them are bad:

1. Bucks win conference title and clinch CFP spot.
2. Bucks win conference title and clinch CFP spot, but suffer a catastrophic injury (or two).
3. Bucks get upset, lose the conference and are knocked out of the CFP.
