I woke up this morning to the news that we didnt name the play offs. I was angry and dejected for all of 2 minutes, then i reflected we beat that team up north and won the conference! Anything else would ve pure bonus. I'm satisfied! GO BUCKS!
O-H!!
Yes. We can run and stop the run, that how you beat Bama. Only takes JT to have a decent game. Clemson will murder themFor everyone mentioning Alabama, do you honestly, objectively think we beat Bama 1v1 this year?
I've watched a lot of Alabama over the past few years (more than I've ever wanted to), and let me tell you - there is only 1 way a game against them can end if we play a non-passing QB.
You make a good argument. Then again Alabama played a game against a non-passing QB and they only won by a TD.For everyone mentioning Alabama, do you honestly, objectively think we beat Bama 1v1 this year?

This game was bittersweet. I don't feel UW was cheated because it played uncharacteristically poorly or anything. At the same time, it proved that UW is not quite up there with the top 4-5 teams. We maximize everything we have more than any other program in the country and are better than about 20 programs we should be trailing. It's only a small handful of teams that UW is looking up to. We are close. We can definitely win a national title despite the built-in disadvantages we have. But, there is a difference. Games like this show it. Down 6 with 2:30 to go and a Big Ten title and national playoff on the line, and UW's biggest playmaker is a walk-on RB who started the season like 6th on the depth chart. It's not a knock on Garrett Groshek at all. Great story, good player and kids like him are the reason UW succeeds the way it does. But we need more playmaking to take that next step. When you get to this level, the top teams are pretty solid across the board. UW has that. UW even had pretty good depth this year. But the elite teams in the playoff have players who can make 2-3 great plays that turn the game. UW might have that capability on its roster now. They just weren't there yet on Saturday night.
Jesus man the dude's soul is already crushed. No need to piss on it too.No offense but I think you are over estimating how close Wisconsin is.
That game was a few OSU unforced errors away from being a complete blowout.
The argument can be made that Wisconsin benefits from m being in a weak division and this CCG showed how that allows them to have a punchers chance in any given year if the team from the east plays poorly and leaves them in the game.
I do agree Wisconsin gets more out of less than any team in America

I'm wondering which game had the higher ratings tonight, OSU vs Wisky or Canes vs Clemson?
I'll bet it will be OSU/Wisky and it won't even be close.
