Well, perhaps they'll quit the fucking sport and make everyone happy. Until then, fuck em. :cheers:I want to make a couple of comments on the PSU-scUM game:
1. In the 4th quarter, Penn State pulled their starters on both offense and defense, while Michigan left theirs in. Penn State still gashed Michigan on both sides of the ball. Simply put, Michigan quit down the stretch. I wonder if this will become a theme under Harbaugh, as it did in San Francisco where the players lost all respect for Harbaugh and his Rainman antics.
2. Mike McCray is hot garbage. Absolutely awful. Urban might've missed on some Ohio kids early (Charlton, Gedeon, Butt), but I'm thrilled that McCray turned traitor and headed up north. #karma
3. Chase Winovich is another one who deserved a four-year sentence in scumland. The cheap shot that he delivered to Trace McSorely (three steps after release, drilled McSorely in the back with the crown if his helmet) was ejection-worthy and a perfect example of what scUM is all about.
4. scUM fan is already in "wait until next year" mode. Good luck with that. The talent is getting worse, not better. Harbaugh brought in a ton of 3-star recruits in 2016 and 2017, but quantity over quality is never a sound recruiting strategy. scUM's 2018 class is "meh" at best, and they are not going to be major players for any top prospects going forward. Their 2019 class is off to a good start, but a lot can change in the next fifteen months (including Harbaugh taking his talents to the Cleveland Browns). Meanwhile, Ohio State and Penn State continue to recruit at a very high level, Wisconsin always manages to find kids who perfectly fits their system, Michigan State always does more with less, so expect to see Michigan as an afterthought in the Big Ten for a few more seasons.
