2018-2019 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

Lipscomb's starters were going at it with Louisville's, but as players get in foul trouble the difference in depth becomes apparent.

Louisville up 10 with 15 to play.

Lipscomb was down 2 with the ball in the final minute but Louisville hangs on for the win at home, 72-68.

The final 33 seconds took 9 minutes to play. :roll1:
Whoever it was who suggested that, after 10 fouls, the fouled team should be able to take the ball out-of-bounds rather than taking the free throws had a great idea. Or alternatively to get the foul shots and the possession. These foul-a-thons are not good for the sport.

I did watch Houston-L$U yesterday, pretty pathetic coaching by L$U to have all that talent and very little execution. I do feel Sampson is an underrated coach, nearly led an upset vs UM last year and his team rallied in the 2H yesterday even with a leading scorer being mostly shut down and in deep foul trouble. Houston could make some noise in the tourney if they figure out how to score consistently - they have plenty of size and athleticism.

Villanova is not good this year.
Watch them win at Kansas today with Azubuike out and Legerald Vick being a headcase for KU.
