Indiana about to choke an 8-pt lead away at home. Sounds familiar.

Let's face it, the reality is that Indiana hasn't had a good basketball coach since this guy:

Bob Knight (1971 - 2000) 662-236 .735 and 3 National Championships

Mike Davis (2000-2006) 115-79 .592

Kelvin Sampson (2005-2008) 43-15 .741 and on February 22, 2008, Sampson was forced to resign due to NCAA violations.

Dan Dakich (2008) 3-4 .429

Tom Crean (2008 - 2017) 166 - 135 .552

Archie Miller (2017 - present) 54-43 .556

really does not matter… They were not going to win a game with them so they can just rest for a year

I can't believe those dopes gave Tom Crean 10 years.

Probably the best argument against the top-end quality of the B1G is a very average Wisconsin team sitting at the top. But they've also had a pretty favorable conference schedule (especially since their game at our place was with Kyle out and while we were in our UGH streak).

But I'm happy that Potter found a better opportunity/fit for him.

Sampson is a great coach but calling recruits too many times cost him the IU job. Weird that extra phone calls got a coach fired when Coach K, Self and Calipari are buying top recruits every year. I guess the moral of the story is anything goes so long as you have a fall guy.

Win or lose today Rutgers deserves to go to the Big Dance. I know no team has ever made the tournament with less than 2 true road wins but my god they are close in almost every road game vs the best conference and have all those big home wins. Let them have their bid.

IU probably wishes they would’ve told the NCAA to shove it if they’ve would’ve known what the college basketball landscape would be like in 2020.
