2019-2020 Ohio State Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

Possibly Walker played the rest of the game. Doubtful since scrimmages are exactly for figuring stuff like this out.

Hope DJ is okay.

The starting line-up is not surprising but strikes me as probably being kind of slow.

yeah, i'd agree that it's doubtful that walker played the rest of the game, especially if the staff was considering the possibility of being without carton for the beginning of the season. would be good experience for washington and muhammad to man the backcourt.

let's hope the staff was just being super-cautionary with carton. even just a slightly tweaked ankle would probably warrant pulling carton from a scrimmage.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Jallow is the only guy who had a surgical procedure that would lend itself to missing extended game action. I don't know that any of the other injuries will actually lead to the guys sitting out the UC game.

Ahrens has been out quite some time (back injured over the summer) and still isn't playing. I'd say its maybe 50/50 that he will be back for UC.

AP Ranking 18 to start the year.

Seems reasonable. Enough questions to think we could be in the 10-30 range depending on how those questions get answered. We should comfortably be a tourney team with seeding dependent on things we just don't know yet. Preseason Bracketology has us as a 5 seed.

MSU ranked #1 which wasn't surprising, but it was somewhat surprising, to me anyway, that this is the first time they have been AP preseason #1.
