Acc officials are such trash. Howell got a first down on that 3rd down catch/run or it was at least close enough to measure. And then they didn’t bother to stop the clock on the 4th run....even if he didn’t get out of bounds, it was still a first down for UNC.

They're never getting another play off with 1 second, regardless. The first down stoppage is only until the ball is ready for play.

Now if the back did the smart thing and went straight for the sideline instead of dancing like he was gonna get through 9 defenders, they could've gotten another play.

agreed. yeah, the clocked should have stopped at 1 second to go and unc should have been given the chance to get a snap off, but odds are they wouldn't have done it fast enough.

you can't control what the refs do, but you sure as heck can control what you do. the running back, michael carter, is a dumbass. slows down at about the 46-yard-line with 5 seconds to go while still looking to get extra yardage downfield. the idiot danced like he took wake forest straight up.

I would take a 1 loss OSU or OU over them anyday. Particularly OSU Who has 5 ranked games ahead. Which is 4 more than Clemson.
