2021 Fall Camp and Other Tidbits

It's more than just a thing... just listened to studs interview and that sounds like the starting 5. Wow am I excited after hearing that interview. According to Stud Dwand Jones has been dominant in pass pro and said once he sets up that no one is going around him (also said no chance anyone goes through him). Also said that Paris has been destroying people and that our guards being natural tackles gives them the ability to get their hands on defensive tackles faster due to their quickness.

So this looks like our starting 5. Talk about a pass pro team with Munford/Johnson/NPF/Jones. Holy shit.

Left to right then, from OSU official site

NPF: 6'5" 315
Munford: 6'6" 320
Miller: 6'4" 315
PJJ: 6'6" 315
Jones: 6'8" 360

Avg: 6'5" 325

jeeesus
You made me look it up:

1968 OL
Mayes - 250
Backhus - 207
Muhlbach - 195
Jack - 215
Foley - 246

Avg: 222

That's 512 pounds less than today's OL.
If you added a second Mayes and a second Foley the line would still weigh 16 pounds less than today.

And they won the NC.
While creating clouds of dust.

And all because they didn't drink enough Holy Kombucha.

That's a very interesting starting 5 for the OL. 5 massive men to block for whoever is the RB. And I assume that all have good enough footwork for the QB
