Prediction (unfortunately): The B1G...and the NCAA...will be full of sound and fury...signifying nothing. They'll both give fireball speeches using phrases like "integrity of the game" and equal playing field" and "athletic competition", and then follow that with a slap on the wrist so weak it doesn't even redden his lily white skin. The DFBIA arrogance explodes.

I said that two weeks ago.

They will absolutely take the path of least resistance. A small part of me wonders if this counter-PR scheme isn't being somewhat aided and abetted by the Big Ten to muddy the waters enough that it gets Pettiti off the hook (it won't)...

These fuckers are going get away with it. I can feel it. I'll be very happy to be wrong but I'm not.

That's not nearly as reliable as getting the information from the UPS girl:

C'mon man - don't go trying to make me like Bielema.
So, Bert is suggesting that they've also intercepted headset communications? It's hard to remember if this has been brought up before or just speculated, because of how crazier and deeper this story keeps going. However, this is the guy that sounds reasonable and rational?

THIS GUY!?!?!?

Yeah, tCun can go ahead and get bent.
I think he is saying that due to a tecnhical glitch a team he was playing inadvertently started picking up the information coming from the coaches upstairs and the other coach took action to avoid benefitting from same.

No, I think he said another team had told him that during a game Wiskys signals were coming over the other teams headsets and that the opposing coaches took their headsets off until the issue was fixed. He was using it as an example of integrity in the league.

Correct....he's saying against Northwestern, Pat Fitzgerald, in middle of game, let Bert know his coaching staff was picking up Wisky's calls via radio signal, and also told his staff to get off the headsets until it was fixed, therefore keeping the integrity of that game.

I liked the part about Fitzgerald hearing Bielema’s signals through the headsets during a game, and telling the NW’ern staff to change the channel and not even hear the stuff.

And the man who had that much integrity about sportsmanship was canned by NW’ern via a panicked decision in response to a student newspaper article, and probably not given due process.

That was a University, not the conference, but the irony isn’t lost on me.

I'm looking to find a way to explain all this to my newborn grandson in a way he can understand as he gets a little older. Let me know if you guys think any of these books might help:

As I try to explain Jimmy and the DFBIA to him-

I think these capture the spirit of what the tsun coaches were trying to do

Hmm. I see. Damn. Well...

Good luck with the on-field and replay officiating down there, scUM.

I am almost positive that Ono talking to the SEC is the sad message board version of fabricated click bait.
Those "discussions" are probably Ono calling Greg Sankey's office 5 times a day and having his secretary tell Ono "He's on another line" and getting put on endless hold with the audio of the 2021 Ga/UM game playing in the background.
