This whole thing is insane. Their research budget in 2022 was over $2.7 BILLION. Their entire athletic budget is a little over $200 million. What idiot board or president would allow the integrity and reputation of the institution to be drug through the mud over a coach? I know, they're not known as the DFBIA for nothing. They've earned the title.
His name is Santa and when the NCAA is done it’s Christmas for everybody except tCun.

Did Ono totally miss what happened at Iowa and Iowa State and several NFL teams last summer? Could any college football program pass a careful exam of the gambling activities of their players and staff?
this is what gets me... there's nearly a 100% chance these fuckwads or their associates bet on these games.... I'd be shocked if all the info came out and no-one had bet

Can someone explain to me what "Bet" is supposed to me, in context?
I assume it is “bet against us” or something stupid like that.
Could it be they truly honestly believe "everybody does it?" I mean, as I think about it these cock gobblers have always thought that if someone is doing well it has to be because they're doing something illegal. OSU dominates the B1G? Bagmen and cheaters, right? So... perhaps by wrongly believing "everybody does it" they became exactly that which they thought everyone else is only to find that the rest of us arn't?
The evidence they submitted of “other teams doing it” containing footage from television broadcasts and all-22 tapes indicates that they’re actually that stupid and don’t understand the significant difference between obtaining pictures of opposing coaches on the sidelines in the way that everyone else actually does it (resulting in a single page of brief notes from patched together information) versus taping the sidelines for an entire game and having the entire database to work from.

As I said, all you need to do is look at the results to see how elevated their cheating was (not the results on the field, but the pages of information and laminated cheat sheets he was using on the sidelines as he fed information to the coordinators in real time). But, to the original point, they probably assumed they were just better at it than everyone else because, you know, they are arrogant fucks.

But they do appear to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the difference—or they’re just disingenuous, lying sacks of shit.

I'll take their fucking "bet" as long as I"m allowed to coach next to Hartline and Laurinaitis for The Game! I'll be the first to admit that I should have taken a route to defend the Buckeyes instead of my country a while back but I'll be damned if I would ever get cheated again! Give me @Buckeneye for my Dbacks coach, @MSURacerDT55 as my Dline coach and @exhawg for Oline, and I will beat the absolute shit out of those Cheating Usurpers North of Toledo this coming Thanksgiving!! @RB07OSU has an easy job with the group he has but that booger eating sonofabitch doesnt deserve to be on any sideline in this conference again.

I'm not fucking joking, and yes, I have formally sent my resume to The Ohio State University and Ryan Day this week.
Can I be your “recruiting analyst”?

The faculty must hate Ono. Faculty are not generally big fans of a football program. To the extent they think of it at all, they tend to resent the attention and the salaries. To have their President, so publicly and disgracefully, behave like a delusional football fan-boy, to protect an overpaid half-wit wolverine's ass like Harbaugh? When they're trying to educate future world leaders and save the world with medical and environmental and energy and economic and social (etc) research - and so much more??

It can't be sitting well.

This isn't good for them, as an institution, in so many ways.

Delicious!
The tCun Board will fire that idiot in a few months, in an attempt to soften the NCAA’s hammer drop.

I don’t see how Ono could possibly be viewed by anyone as acting in the best interests of the university. The fact that the board of regents hasn’t taken any action to reign him in is surprising, at least to me. I’m wondering how high up the cancer goes. To whom is the board of regents accountable?

I don't understand something. It's my understanding that TCUN filed for the injunction/TRO in Washtenaw County Court. How would a ruling issued in a local county court in *ichigan be enforceable against the B1G who is located in Illinois and a game being played in Pennsylvania? Wouldn't that require being in Federal Court?
I’ve been wondering about the jurisdictional issues as well. Maybe Michigan believes their state has authority over the entire United States.

The board of regents wanted to extend Harbaugh during all of this.

Every single one of them will have to go to free them of 50% of the stink. The other 50% will never go away.

All of them have put success ahead of values. When you do that and you have success I’d imagine it’s hard to think of going back to be irrelevant
