Unfortunately for this instance.....they have a type. It's the Michael Mauti type. The type that knows everything is all bullshit, but they're all in anyways.

I don't know that it's so much a "type". Unless they're guilty of something REALLY bad... like, they're banned from NCAA football forever, or maybe the FBI or other law enforcement is interested.... I could see the players truly believe each other to be brothers. And snitching is going to get them a penalty worse than anything the NCAA can do. I would imagine most teams aren't snitching on their teammates. Again, unless they know there's something huge. The only way they're snitching is if there's something huge.

Well they probably have enough to bring down a few if they’re asking.

At this point they’re trying to see how far it went

This strikes me as funny because I actually read books by both those guys earlier this year.

I totally picture Simple Jim going into the bookstore every couple months and buying some books on philosophy or a grad level history or political science book because he's going to finally start reading the stuff his coaches wouldn't let him read in college. He gets home, starts and after about two or three pages can't follow, gets up to go have some whole milk to focus his mind and then just wanders out into the backyard to look for his baseball.

Vegas could be pissed
scUM lost every bet vs the spread vs non-B1G this year (teams they obviously didn't scout)
they pushed against Rutgers
won every other B1G game vs the spread.. THEN..
the defecation hits the ventilation system
they lose vs Purdue
and win vs PSU

can you imagine how much money changed hands on last 2 scUM vs OSU games

Other posts out there saying it was VEGAS that called for this whole investigation
$18B endowment gonna take a hit
Big house gonna be renamed Fandual Center

other posts saying they found online betting on the scUM laptops and the coaches were the users

More than their endowment that'd be taking a hit if Vegas was still being run out of Richard's Bar.

If this were a movie, I'd believe that Stalions is now in a shallow grave in the desert, and other members of the staff would be in hiding.

Reading the post on how Tennessee escaped paying the price (BTW, great post, Thanks) and watching Michigan threatening to jump into the political/legal arena to do the same, leaves a grim picture of college sports. For the schools, it's a visible sign of just how far they have gone to prostitute themselves for the sake of winning teams. For the teams, it leaves an indelible mark on how they won - a tainted victory to remember.
But for college football and basketball, the fall of the NCAA means that sports are running without guidelines, without rules, without a basic set of agreed upon laws that all must comply with. Nothing good can come out of such a situation.
