Most of it is the prep work, for big TRO hearings you have a litany of filings filed minutes apart from each other and you have to keep on your toes. Lots of research involved that has to be turned around very quickly. So there is a ton of manpower involved in getting to the hearing. Not saying the outcome will change, but they're going to give themselves the best chance they can at winning this thing (still unlikely imo).I have a hard time seeing how having that many lawyers involved will change the outcome at this stage. It's not like they need to plow through truck-loads of discovery documents or something, is it?
They are trying to file an amicus brief for a TRO hearing? That is the first time I have ever heard of that, usually that happens only in appellate proceedings. God, this is going to be a zoo for the court. Now the media coverage requests I totally get and hope its granted. I'm definitely watching if it is available.I wonder if Ryan McCarl was the ringleader who orchestrated the MGOBLOW amicus brief? Also, there is no shortage of local media requesting permission to broadcast the hearing.
