#3 TTUN at #4 tOSU, Sun 2-21, 1 ET on CBS

Ohio State fell to 83 in DEF Eff after today's game. Still 3rd in OFF eff but the defense will be the undoing in a high level NCAA tournament game if we can't get that shored up.

At least our OFF knocked their Def eff down from 7th to 12th.

Give credit to Juwan. His strategy was to shut down the 'other' players. Have never seen Kyle so taken out of the plays. Ahrens, was covered by TSUN tighter than his jock strap. Everytime Kyle moved toward the basket, he was banged off kilter. Not certain why Sueing was not more of a factor, but he wasn't in his normal mode. BTW, Liddell gave his all. Giving up 5" (and it looked like about 40 pounds), plus the refs seemed to be allowing some pretty hard banging under the basket, tires one out. Zed made an impact, and Kyle as well as they collapsed, but their center had a great knack of moving toward the open spot, and grabbing the ball. Many of his points were 'garbage' points, putting back the missed shots. Was a tad surprised that Holtmann didn't reverse the rotation, and take advantage of tOSU guard's height advantage. If one averages out the height differentials, it seemed about even. So, pull out their bigs, and rotate our guards (especially Sueing) down low. Great effort, and probably the best complete game from Washington. Not just scoring, but ball hawking. If UX has a 'normal' 3-point shooting average, tOSU wins. Go Bucks!
